I think I’ve fixed most, if not all, of the rendering bugs betwixt browsers. It was an enormous hassle, but I think the code’s a bit cleaner for it. I had, at one point, all these little bits of hack to trick explorer into seeing things my way. I took most of those out, and just re-wrote a lot of the css to ease up on the overall styling a bit. I felt that the function in most cases was more important than the form, particularly if it meant that everyone would see the page and interact with it in the same way. Plus, I had a feeling that the more pieces of code tape I slapped into the thing, the more likely it was that something would eventually break… that’s a counter intuitive metaphor, but you take my meaning.
